It has a large rounded collar and closes down the front with faceted raised jet black buttons

This is from the main-line label and I would consider it demi-couture

Striped versions of the dress here were featured both in the Alaia exhibit at the Groninger Museum and accompanying book 'Alaia- Azzedine Alaia in the 21st Century

The sleeves of the jacket are cut on a curve in the traditional couture manner  and I love the bright pink lining that gives a flash of unexpected colour when you wear it open
