The halter of the bodice curves up and behind the neck

It is literally cut to the waist and the panels of fabric that cover the breast and back are set with a gap between them so the plunge takes centre stage on both sides

The quilting technique used on this dress is distinctive and it was this feature that allowed me to find the date of the collection

Hips at the seam 5" below the waist seam: 17" flat across from side seam to side seam

Each sleeve is cut to just below the elbow and they are cut straight and wide
