I am such a fan of Joy Stevens work - she made amazing jersey dresses out of her design studio in California during the 1970s and they are really some of the nest jerseys of the time period

There is a slight difference in the velvet pile here and there but this is natural patina for age and normal wear

The fabric is a good weight brocade that is heavy enough that the dress can keep that slightly sculpted shape

The belt and jacket both look like they were let out slightly - this is only seen in the inside lining not the exterior of the jacket
