Made of tulle lace, the band of the bonnet is detailed with several rows of pink satin ribbon and bows. A single silk ribbon rosette embellishes the center of the band. Several rows of pink ribbon are joined at the crown, fitting over the head. An elastic band (which has lost its stretch) is situated at the back of the bonnet. The bonnet appears never to have
