This hand made cut and loop pile rug was made by combining a loop weave invented by Asmara with the ancient French Savonnerie pile weave. Woven with a complex yarn made up several yarns of different shades, this rug has a unique texture and shading variations reminiscent of rare antique rugs. Has passed
