The gold leaf shells adorn the crucifix and the base of the mineral. The geode crystal was part of a large geode and perfectly matches with the crucifix and gold leaf shells. The shells and crystal points rise out geode to appear as if the piece evolved together over time. Together, the organic elements and historical crucifix
