I wanted to make this piece as a show stopper and carefully chose the colours for it

Then some beautiful paint inlays applied to the cupboard and draw fronts. The whole piece was then given three coats of wax varnish to seal and protect and to finish gold Gilt wax was applied to highlight the mouldings. The original handles have been replaced with cup handles which give a nice touch. This Cabinet would be a lovely
