This set is in the Benjamin Franklin pattern, which was patented in 1904. The sterling silver handles are designed with a threaded edge and shell tip. All of the blades are stainless steel, except for one silver plated steel blade. The blades are marked Towle, sterling handle and stainless blade. This set is in excellent overall condition. There is minor surface wear commensurate with
