'Lavender in the wind' Night Light / Vase handmade Once the piece was illuminated

Once the piece was illuminated I could see patterns in the surface of the porcelain that made me think of shooting stars

They have been collected from local woodland here in St Leonards

This bathroom tile panel has been inlaid with cowparsley flowers collected in St Leonards and glazed red to accentuate the pattern

'Lavender in the wind' Night Light / Vase handmade Once the piece was illuminatedThis porcelain night light vase has been impressed with wild grasses, lavender and leaves to create the pattern on the night light. I have then glazed it in with a combination of orangy red and blue. The inside has been glazed with clear glaze so it can be used as a vase too. When a tea light candle is placed inside the night light it creates a beautiful flickering effect in any room. Great for a relaxing evening at home. The colour of porcelain night
