This cool monster is Hand Carved from a large elk antler (no elk was harmed in making this Monster as they naturally shed their antlers each fall) with turquoise inlaid eyes, a red coral tongue and a brush mane. If you look in Kent McManis's book "Zuni Fetish Carvers of the 1970s" on page 85 you'll see a great photo of another "Ugly Monster" that Stewart carved
