Its name pays tribute to the Boii, an ancient Celtic tribe whose name gave rise to "Bohemia," celebrating the historical connection between Ireland's Celtic heritage and the birthplace of the pilsner style. Na Boii also marks Sullivan's Brewing Company's return to lager brewing after more than 150 years.
