Each Monarch depicted here is one I raised by hand, and through this work, I wanted to honor the remarkable transformation they undergo. The composition captures key moments in the Monarchs life cyclefrom the delicate chrysalis stage, to the powerful emergence with wings unfurling, and finally to a fully formed butterfly poised for flight. Its a tribute to
