The families of the founding members of the cooperative, winemakers for generations, decided instead to stay in the vineyards and came together to create Cantina Tollo. The town of Tollo rises on a rounded hill at an altitude of 150 meters, in the province of Chieti, about 20 km from Pescara in Abruzzo.
