It has a lot of ripe, dark forest fruits with sweet cooking spices like nutmeg, clove, vanilla, cinnamon. Having been aged 4 years in oak, also expect toast and smoke characteristics. On the palate very smooth with long, long finish. This reminds us of the Amarone style with concentrated flavours of black fruit, but with a much more savoury overall
