Along The Path michigan Quiet PlacesAlong the Path was inspired by my time hiking the North Country Trail at the Pictured Rocks National Shoreline in the Fall. Looking out over expansive Lake Superior was stunning during this hike. I especially love how this painting captures the resilience of the massive pine tree growing from the side of the sandstone cliffs along this point in the trail.
