The inside was painted silver

The shell was stripped to bare metal

There is a 40mm crack in the right side which has been stabilised with epoxy resin

The stainless steel chinstrap lugs are the MkIII type and are unmarked. The factory stamps under the flare are EB II 1942 (Eveson Bros of Worcester).
