Birch Bark Baskets friends tie and authentic Indigenous-inspired footwearBirch Bark Baskets hand crafted by an Algonquin artisan from northern Ontario. These gorgeous handmade baskets are made from genuine and locally harvested birch bark. Each birch bark box is hand sewn and decorated with porcupine quills or leather. Includes a fitted lid. The quill boxes are made by employing the traditional technique of inserting the quills directly into the bark and some are made using a more modern technique of attaching the quills
