Das deutlich vom Kimmeridge Kalkboden geprgte Aroma zeigt in der Jugend oft Noten von Feuerstein, grnen pfeln und Zitrusfrchten und wird zunehmend nussig rauchig bereichert mit weiterer Lagerung. Fourchaume ist am rechten Ufer der Serein gelegen die nrdliche Fortsetzung des Grand Cru Hangs und zhlt zu den besten 1ers Crus der Appellation.
