Fordite Earrings with Surgical Stainless Steel Ear Wires, EB30 fordite_earring_set This is a reversible pieceI cut these earrings from a rough piece of fordite that originated while painting parts for big rig freight liners in Ohio. The fordite stones are teardrop shaped, domed on top with flat backs. The ear wires are surgical stainless steel. The earring stones are about 29 x 16 in mm. I was able to isolate a blue layer right on top surrounded by white. See the picture with the nickel for scale. The last picture shows the backs of the earrings. Fordite is
