Brit57 The helmet has been fittedBrit57 Shell: The shell is an original WW2, Brititsh manufactured MkII shell with a stainless steel banded edge. The stainless steel factory chinstrap lugs are the MkIII type and are unmarked. The factory stamps are under the flare near a chinstrap lug; they are somewhat distorted by rust pitting but read 1 1941 BMB N13 (Briggs Motor Bodies Ltd Dagenham).
