Surfite builds up during the manufacturing process of making surf boards as over spray when they are coated with resin. This surfite is from a board maker in California. The buildup is eventually removed and either thrown out or up cycled into jewelry. Surfite often has a brighter look to it than fordite (automotive paint) due to the resin being semi transparent as well
