To commemorate the 4th anniversary of our friends Revel Cider we brewed a collaborative beer with them to mark the special occasion

The beer refermented on the grapes for one month

well-rounded hop character -- and then dry-hopped after emerging from the barrel creating a lovely balance between a dank dry-hop

Barn Owl No.8 dark cinnamon and cherriesThis ongoing barrel blend series is named Barn Owl, as a nod to the wise and exacting animal that keeps watch over the farmhouse. Released sporadically throughout the year, just as soon as we deem the barrels ripe for the picking, these beers will be one off creations never to be replicated again. No. 8 is a blended sour ale aged in second use tequila barrels for 1 to 3 years. Before packaging, the blend spent time on a mix of red and black currants.
