This painting is the latest evolution of my series, and by far the most intricate. Each individual scale is so finely crafted that the final layers are applied with a Q tipa technique I first introduced in my sardine paintings. This painstaking process allows every detail to come alive, creating a tactile surface that feels dynamic and full of
