Puffin In The Pinks Archaeology What could be more perfectCushions of Sea Pinks or Thrift are a familiar and welcome sight on cliffs, rocks and dunes of Northumberland. The small, bright pom pom flowers on their wiry stems, can often be seen in early summer, bobbing in the sea breeze. This painting shows a puffins nestled in pinks, combining two of my favourite things flowers and puffins. This work was created using Artist's acrylic paints on a canvasboard.
