WW2 Royal Army Service Corps General Service Cap Uniforms possibly 1941 as there isA WW2 Royal Army Service Corps general service cap. With brass Royal Army Service Corps slider badge and dated 1945. These caps were very short lived, introduced in 1943 to replace the field service cap, they were unpopular with the troops and nicknamed the cap ridiculous. They were phased out of service by the end of 1945. Makers marked to J. Collett Ltd, London. Size 7. Also features a War Department stamp with letter Z, confirming its 1945 dating.
