Length: 18" from top of shoulder to hem

Each sleeve and the hem is finished with a beautiful and dramatic circle of fluffy

The neckline and back are scooped and the waist nips in just a touch but without being seamed

I have included some photos of myself sitting in the dress and you can see how many yards of silk are around me

Trailing up one hip is a ruffled detailing topped by silk taffeta rosettes

Spring 1972 Lanvin by Jules-Francois Crahay Striped One Shoulder Dress designer-victoria-royal Length: 18" from top ofThis dress was designed by Belgian born Jules Francois Crahay, who headed the Lanvin ateliers from 1964 1984. He has been noted as one of fashions 'great colorists with his colorful patterns making his 1970s Lanvin designs hugely desirable and influential.' His time at the Lanvin label is one of my personal favourites for the house. I especially love the his work during the period through the late sixties and into the early 1970s. He was a genius at
